Information collected
Cottonmouth collects the details needed to manage adult membership applications, merchandise orders, contact requests and club updates. Membership applications collect first name, last name, date of birth, address, gender, email address and telephone number. Applicants also confirm that they are at least 18 and acknowledge that valid physical photo ID must be brought to the club.
The website does not request an uploaded identity document. Identity is checked physically at the club by authorised staff.
Merchandise orders collect contact details, ordered items, fulfilment details, order value, payment status and internal order references. Contact and newsletter forms collect the information entered into those forms. Technical logs, cookies and fraud prevention data may also be recorded for security and service operation.
How information is used
Information is used to check membership eligibility, maintain membership records, process payments, fulfil merchandise orders, respond to enquiries, send requested updates, protect the service from misuse and meet accounting or legal obligations.
Payment processing
Membership and merchandise payments are completed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe receives the information needed to process the transaction under its own privacy terms. Cottonmouth records the checkout session reference, payment reference, payment status and order or membership reference, but does not receive or store full card details.
Retention and security
Records are kept only for as long as required for membership administration, order fulfilment, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance and security. Exact retention periods must be confirmed by Cottonmouth before public launch.
Access to membership, order and contact records is limited to authorised staff. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or, where applicable, delete personal information. You may withdraw from optional marketing messages at any time. Applicable rights depend on Cottonmouth’s confirmed operating jurisdiction.
